The last Monday in May, known as Memorial Day, is a date that is anticipated by many throughout the United States all year long. This is because while this federal holiday was enacted as a way to honor all those brave individuals that have given their life during military service to our country, Memorial Day also signifies the “official” start of the summer season.

Memorial Day is a big day for parties, social gatherings and barbecues.
