I recently released a 10-part series on the history of the kegerator entitled "The Rise of Cold Beer Drinking" and have been getting some nice comments back on the research that was done. The articles explore the history of refrigeration and how the the kegerator came to be.
Beer.com has published all ten articles in the series on their website and I also was asked to do an exclusive interview for the Beer.com PodCast (8MB). The guys over at Beer.com were nothing but awesome about publishing the series and I look forward to working with them in the future.
Check out the entire series and let me know what you think.
Introduction
The kegerator is the best way to enjoy a perfect cold draft beer at home. It is essentially a modified refrigerator or freezer that keeps keg beer cold right until it is poured into your glass. A favorite of home brewers and real ale aficionados, the kegerator maintains the freshness of beer as well as keeping the beer’s head nice and creamy.
In this series of articles we discuss the rise of cold beer drinking and the kegerator.
