Kegerator Forum: keg pint tracking devices?

Posted:  19 Mar 2006 22:07
just a question that  i thought you may be ablle to help me with, is there such things as devices that are linked up to computers to track the amount of pints poured from each barrel, give times and dates, which are used in pubs.

my manager seems to think he can go to this 'computer' in our pub which is linked to the kegs, which no one has heard of and get a detailed description on pints being poured over the last couple of years.

anyone shed any light on these devices?

thanks for any help x

There is project called the KegBot. http://kegbot.org/project/ This is free Open Source software that can track and return detailed reports of the beer poured and remaining in the keg. Really cool!

It runs on Linux.
