My girlfriend's ex had a kegerator from Sudsbuddy (now defunct, apparently) which stopped working well over a decade ago... what she remembers him saying was "I think the solid state cooling isn't working".  It's been sitting unplugged in a garage for the intervening years.  I have no familiarity with these contraptions myself.

a) Is repair of this (by someone who knows how to repair such devices) an option, given that Sudsbuddy is out of business?  If so, can y'all recommend a person or organization I could contact to get an estimate or to discuss such?

b) Is there a compelling reason to assume it isn't worth it anyway, given age and the status of the manufacturer and all that?
