Hi! I recently purchased an EdgeStar KC1000. I set it up today, and have a keg in there. It all seems to be working fine, but it won’t get colder than 38 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s supposed to get as low as 32, and I’ve tried setting it lower, but it stays at 38. It was initially in the 60’s, and got to 38 quickly.
Granted, it’s been setup for a few hours. Maybe it needs a couple days. But I wanted to check and see if this means there is something wrong. I tried calling EdgeStar but was on hold for almost an hour. |

I have a similar unit, never goes below 38*. Guessing it has to do with environmental issues or maybe it’s not insulated enough |
