I did something stupid. I needed to defrost it and didn't feel like waiting, so I took a screw driver to it to break up the large ice. Well I guess I went to far and hit the plate in the back. Refrigerant came out when I did this. I immediately unplugged it and took it to the garage to defrost with a heat gun and to see the damage I did. Here are pics. It looks like it didn't go all the way through but still. Is she dead?
