Well, I've read just about every one of these posts, and there's so much information, I don't really know what to do, so please PLEASE help. The major problem is that I've got foam. Now, before I get responses that I've seen on here, let me say what I've done.
-This is a new kegerator, so the lines are clean. -I have two taps, one connected to Miller Lite and the other connected to Hanalei IPA (I don't think that makes a difference, but I'm at my wit's end). -The temperature of the beer (not the fridge) is between 37-39. -I have my CO2 set to 8 (I did this because I read too much pressure equals too much foam, but then I've read other forums that say Miller Lite should be at 12-15, so I don't know what to believe). -The kegs have been tapped now for 72 hours, so they should be 'settled' from the transport. -My beer lines are coiled on top of the kegs. My question is multipart - Do I have my settings correct? Should I be "burping" the kegs? Do you cut off the CO2 supply when burping the kegs? How long after I change the pressure on the CO2 should I check the beer? I didn't think this would be this difficult, so the whole thing is losing a little luster. TIA for any tips you can provide.
