Hello everyone!  I purchased an under-counter kegerator (EdgeStar BR7001SS) and wanted to get some input on its installation because I'd rather not screw up my countertop if at all possible.         I'll be installing the kegerator under a granite countertop that is 1 1/4 inch thick.   I'm going to hire a granite countertop company to drill the holes but I wanted to make sure I let them know exactly what I want. My understanding is that the central hole should be approximately 3 inches in diameter.  I was told that I should not drill the holes for the beer tower screws all the way through the granite but instead should drill them perhaps 1 inch into the granite.  Does this sound correct to everyone?   Is there anything in particular I should let the countertop company know about the drilling?    I also understand that I'll need to seal the gap between the fridge and the countertop.  What would you recommend for that?   Sorry if similar questions have already been posted--I'm new to all this.   Thanks!

Why don't you hire a qualified professional that inspect your premises and suggest the best suitable place for the installation.
