New to owning a kegerator and I have a couple issues/questions. First its a Edgestar KC2000 which I absolutely love except I'm confused about a couple little things. First I got a 1/6 keg of Sam Adams Winter ale kept the PSI level at 10 even though instructions said 12 I found 10 to have a good pour. Second Keg I held off on cleaning since it was going to be another winter ale from sam adams. Onto the third Keg I was going to try something new, I had my cleaning kit and did a cleaning and installed a 1/6 keg of Brooklyn Lager. Noticed I am getting a lot of head with this. I lowered PSI to around 7-8 PSI and seems to be better now that it settled a little (FYI I let the keg settle almost 24hrs before tapping) I can get a good pour but fist one sometimes is still a lot of head maybe third of the glass. on the keg itself and on Brooklyn lagers website they recommend 15-18 psi depending on lines. I'm running 5ft of 3/16in Line not sure if I should upgrade to a longer line? If so is that more of an advantage or is there negatives to that as well? Sorry for this long rant but anyone see any issues with my setup or doings? Thanks, |

I wanted to do something similar sometimes but I don't have enough time and skills, also I've already bought my this stainless guy https://breweryandwine.com/for-brewing/best-m ... for my kegerator and I like how they work together in my guest house, maybe I should take them my master's home?) |
