Hi. New to all of this so don't judge me too harshly.
Just wanting to know if I could set a kegerator up made myself and use kegs with branded beers in. I say this because people talk about those kegs ( can't remember their names but the were referred commonly as soda kegs) and because I don't home brew so I'm wondering if I could buy branded kegs. I.e coors etc. and would I have to buy a whole new keg every time or can I refill them?

Thanks !!

No judgement here! You can definitely make your own kegerator to dispense commercial style kegs. You have to put a deposit down on a keg the first time you purchase. After that, you can just bring back the empty keg shell and swap it out with a full keg. Doesn't really matter what style once you have a deposit on file with your keg store.

Check out the kegerator conversion kits here (https://www.kegerators.com/conversion-kits/) to make an old refrigerator into a kegerator. Look for Sanke type "D" to dispense US commercial style beer.
