How do you know if the keg coupler is bad. I have had a Danby for several years. I just purchased a 1/6 of Sam Adams and the coupler will not completely secure and lock. It will lock in place but not lock and tap the keg. Even in the locked position I can "untap" the keg effortlessly. When I turn the pressure valve there is CO2 pressure that leaks near coupler/keg connection. I have had 20+ kegs but have never had this problem. Any suggestions? |

Hard to say. The keg might be the issue too. I would buy a new coupler and test on this keg (so you don't let it go to waste) and then try the "bad" coupler again on your next keg. You have to just troubleshoot until you find the problem.
Also sounds like a good time to take apart the coupler, inspect and clean all parts. |
