I've had my two tap kegerator for about two years now and, sometime in the last year I started having trouble with the faucet handles breaking. I'm a big fella, but I'm not forcing it too much. I'm also not drinking prior to operation.
At first I thought it might be that I had the less-expensive metal (brass), so I bought a steel metal faucet. That one broke too. I don't use the faucets *too* much, so it may be that the beer is sticking? But that seems unreasonable because the beer dispenses evenly with no chunks or "sticky stuff". I also have tried tightening and un-tightening the various joints - no change. Can anyone help? Any ideas what's going on? |
