I've had a kegerator for over a year, so I've hooked up a bunch of kegs before and I've never had this problem. I got a new keg and let it sit all day. I came home in the evening, cleaned the lines and went to tap it and it started to leak by the tap. I unhooked and inspected the washers on the top and bottom of the keg coupler and the little rubber piece that goes into the C02 connector to the coupler. I retapped and it doesn't leak, but when I start to adjust the secondary valve on the regulator I hear almost a hiss or release of air out of the keg coupler (not from the c02 line). And, beer does not flow. It thought maybe there was too much pressure in the keg so I pulled the coupler valve out for five seconds to release some and nothing. I also thought maybe the ball inside the coupler got stuck so I took it off and rinsed it out and can hear the ball moving when I move the coupler from top to bottom. But, when I reattach everything I get the same loud release of air blowing out of the coupler and no beer flowing when I adjust the secondary valve to open. I really want to drink this beer, so I'd be grateful for any tips!
