NEW KEG,  2.5 BOTTLE RAN OUT IN 3 DAYS AT 38 PSI

FILLED IT UP REPLACED IT PUT IT AT 12 PSI ONLY POURED OUT 4 GLASSES AND NOTHING IS COMING OUT , UPED THE PSI TO 20 TO GET IT WORKING NOW WHATS GOING ON? tHE OTHER GAUGE SAYS 500 PRESSURE AT 40 DEGREES.

EVERYTHING I READ SAYS IT SHOULD STAY AT 12 PSI?

12 psi is where it should be. 500 on the gauge should be enough to pour about 4-5 kegs.

Run me through your system. What size line. What type of coupler, faucet, temperature, how long the line is, etc.

Make sure you have the air line going through the side of the coupler and the beer line on the top.

Is the regulator new or old? You might need to have it rebuilt as the diaphragm might have gone out.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!

Nostalgia Kegorator model#krs-2000 series

Temp is 40 deg, Line is about 3/8 and co2 line is about 1/8. Coupler & faucet im not sure i think is a american standard . Beer Line is about 3 feet. co2 line is about 2 feet.

Yes i made sure of the lines,
Regulator is brand new

It is flowing now on 18 psi, but im afraid it will stop again or ill run out of co2.

First things first, take the faucet and coupler apart and clean them. Have you had any problems with them before or is this a new system?

Also 1/8 air line seems really small to me. In my market we use 3/8 air hose. And for 3/8 inch beer line you should have about 4 feet to the faucet to get the 12lbs of resistance to get the perfect flow of 2oz per second. But in your case you'd be flowing faster than you should instead of no flow.

I'm trying to think of different scenarios that would cause a no pour.

Defective Thomas Valve
Air and Beer line crossed
Bad Regulator
Dirty System
Check Ball Retainer missing

Also make sure there's no air leaks at any connections you have. There should be a washer in between all metal to metal connections. If not those will cause a lot of problems with air loss. I have a feeling you're air line is too small and is creating a leak somewhere. My guess is at the connection between the regulator and the Bottle. There should be a paper washer that came with the bottle that needs to be in there so it wont leak. If not get one or use a washer like the ones on the coupler.

I'll keep thinking, and if you can give me any more info on what I put above or whatever you can think of I'll try to figure it out soon as I can.

Thank you so much for your time it is appreciated, im going to go through each one of the things you mentioned and check. I think it may be what you said about the connection and hose, Thanks again
