I have a problem with my kegerator spitting beer from the tap and the beer coming out really foamy. I have ruined two kegs so far, and I was wondering if their was any way to fix this problem and test it without ruining another keg. |

Is this a Homemade Kegerator or a new kegerator
Make sure you beer is not to warm around 36 degrees. Check your psi valve should be between 11-14psi. if the psi is to high, you may need relieve some pressure through you'r pressure relieve valve. Lenght of the hose from the keg to the tap, and the inside diameter, will affect your psi you need. The kind of beer you drink (thickness) may also play a factor. Make sure everything is tight, and the psi valve is working correctly. Hope all this helps. |

Also check your washers. If faucet washers are bad and protruding past the metal they can swirl the beer and cause foam.
And make sure you are not half opening the faucet and opening it fast from the bottom of the handle. If you go to slow or half open. It will foam every time. |
