Has anyone done any studies to find out which manufacturer has the quietist compressor. I purchased a kegerator through amazon made by Nostalgia Electrics and the Compressor is pretty noisy. Who makes the quietest compressor? Sure helps to know when you purchase one of these.

I just bought the Beverage Air DD68 and found it to be noisy also. From what i have read, most brands are pretty loud. The DD68 features a slide out compressor package which i am going to research relocating. I have a utility room behind my bar and am thinking of moving the compressor and fan into there and running the refrigerated copper line back through the wall. Not sure if you have this option but technically, this can be done with any refrigerated system.
