We have a new kegerator with issues of CO2 pressure loss using a 2.5# co2 and a pony keg. the 2.5# tanks only last a couple days when they should last up to 3 kegs. we have replaced seals and are about to replace hoses and clamps. where would you suggest looking for the leak?? the beer is flat 8 - 72 hours after tapping as if no co2 is used... tried a different CO2 canister and keg with the same results. also, beer is VERY foamy for the first gallon or so.
any suggestions?? |

Check for a creeping regulator, might need a rebuild. There are two holes, one on the front and one in the back. Make sure there's no air leaking out of it. If so you need a rebuild. Also check for metal to metal connections. You want a washer between all metal contacts. |
