I'm sure this has been answered before but I'll ask again -
The first pour is nearly all foam - ALWAYS. Second pour gets better - all the rest are perfect. I keep the temp and press good. Beer stays fresh for 1 to 2 months. Parts, lines and spigot are cleaned when keg is replaced. I do clean the spigot about every 2 weeks. Suggestions appreciated, Thanks, Steve S |

I have exactly the same issue. Danby, Budweiser 1/2 barrel, 38 degrees, 9 psi, cleaned before every keg. First pour after it sits is 1/2 or more foam and rest is fine. I can see that all the bubbles then go up the line to the faucet and waits for the next pour, which is unavoidable but is there a way I can minimize that? |

Check to make sure there are no hot spots where the line is hitting warm air.
12psi is ideal. Coldest part of every system should be the shank. |
