I just bought a standard Haier Kegerator with a single faucet tower. We will be using it both for tailgating and for home use. I read in one of the articles that we just need to split the beer line and basically run one to the wall of the trailer and leave the other one alone (the one that runs to the tower). This will be a short run of tubing (I'll place the kegerator right against the trailer wall), so I figure I can get away with keeping it cool by running the short length of exposed line through a small cooler filled with ice packs).
Anyway, I'm looking for some tips or specific guidance on how to do this? How and where do I split the line? How do I make it work so that I only use the 2nd line when we have it in the trailer at tailgaters? I don't have to do it this way, but it would kick ass! Thanks! |
