Cleaned out a friend's Kegerator and rinsed lines well but still has somewhat of a chemical taste. Tried to replace the beer line but the wrench he had only has the hook end, not the hex open-end wrench. Is that thin enough to get off the brass nut that holds the beer faucet to the tower (it's inside the tower which is too narrow to get a pliers or crescent wrench on the nut). I'd have to get that faucet off, I think, to replace the beer line. I don't think I have enough room to remove the top end of the beer line and put the new one on with the faucet still on the tower. Also, is the kind of tubing you can get at Home Depot good enough to replace the line instead of the $45 for 100' stuff I've seen online? |
