I've recently converted a fridge into an kegerator (surprise, surprise among this group) and I'm having a problem with my regulator. My kit is brand new but my regulator is leaking, not out of the connection to the tank but out of what I guess is the bleed by the corkscrew (mechanism by which you adjust the pressure on the keg). Furhtermore, when I try to adjust the pressure there are puffs of mist out of this bleed. I ran some CO2 through dry to see if there was liquid in my regulator and nothing came out... Is my regulator shot? Is there a way to correct this problem? I'd very much like to avoid paying $50 for a new regulator if it's something stupid. Any help will be very much appreciated! THANKS!!! |

Regulators are great when they work. Unfortunately it would be best to get a new one. It would be a sad day to think you had it fixed only to find out your co2 tank is empty and your beer is flat. You'd be out more than $50. |
