Hi. I just read through a bunch of posts, still having problems.
I just received my KC2000, filled the CO2, got a half barrel of Bud Light and put everything together. My pours are very foamy, especially the first one. The beer tastes flat, the keg was new four days ago. If I crank the kegerator to the coldest setting it will only get to 41 - 42. I had the pressure at 8 for a while, I just tried 10, doesn't seem any different. Did my keg go flat? Is 41 degrees enough? I appreciate any advice you might have. Mike In New Hampshire. |

Are you letting your kegs sit for 24 hours before you try and tap them? If not, the foam is most likely due to the agitation during transit. Let the kegs sit and allow the CO2 to reabsorb into the solution (beer) before tapping. Your temp (41-42) should not be a big issue with foaming.
If you are experiencing flat (un-carbonated beer), you can attempt to force carbonate. Check this article out: https://www.kegerators.com/articles/carbonati ... |
