I had a question about creating my own kegerator at my house. I currently have a cooler that I got from a grocery store and began thining about converting it.

I know that I need a tank and a kit for this, but I was wondering if you had any ideas on what I could put on the top of the cooler to cover it. Right now there is not a top to it and this has me stumped. Any suggestions about the whole project would be appreciated.

you could make a 2x4 wood frame with a 3/4inch oak panel for the top. Insulate the underside with styrofoam and put weatherstripping on the frames bottom edge that rest on the cooler. Then just cut your whole in the top for the tap.
