I just got my first kegerator about a week ago and I admitidly know very little about kegs. I am in college and as you can imagine many of my friends and neighbors are interested in keg parties. My question is: is it possible to "un-tap" then "re-tap" a keg?
In other words...if I have one keg of a nicer beer I want to have for my personal use for dinner and stuff, can I take it off tap and put in a cheap party beer for a day or two then replace the nicer beer? As I said I'm not sure exactly how the tapping system works and was wondering if this is possible.
