got a new set up to do and when connected, it leaks from the top of the tap.  thinking its not fully tight, have released the handle, but still no joy after tightening.  can I un screw the tap from the keg to check it?  is there a gasket I should have put in there?  help please, its Friday!

Are you talking about the tavern head? (The piece that taps to the keg)

If so there should be a gasket in the nut that holds the line to the tavern head.
